Podiatry

Podiatry London

The London Foot Clinic specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the foot and ankle and aspects of the lower limbs.

Podiatrists at The London Foot Clinic work in partnership with our team of consultant podiatric surgeon, sports physicians, physiotherapists, osteopaths and radiologists to ensure each patient is thoroughly assessed, diagnosed and optimum treatment is selected.

Initial consultations are often with our Podiatric Surgeon or Podiatrists whom will thoroughly assess your problem by taking a detailed history of your problems and goals to ensure that we can achieve the most optimal outcome.

Podiatrists at the London Foot Clinic specialises in:

  • Ingrown toe nail removal surgery
  • Verrucae/wart & corn removal
  • Foot & Ankle pain
  • Heel Pain Syndrome
  • Gait Analysis & Orthotics

Our podiatrists may take a more detailed clinical assessment which may include a gait analysis. In some cases, conservative treatment by a podiatrist may be effective without surgery.

Many foot and ankle problems are stress injuries, caused by inappropriate footwear and poor gait when running or walking. These injuries can often be treated by podiatry, using a combination of Orthotics, appropriate footwear and activity modification

Our podiatrists, working closely with our physiotherapists, provide advice on appropriate footwear, core stability and stretching exercises, as well as prescribing orthotics.

The clinic was established in Harley Street, Central London to provide private care with an emphasis to a one-stop service. All of our clinical staff split their time between NHS and private practice thus providing the most up to date and evidence based medical practice. In-house diagnostic facilities and access to the multi-disciplinary team ensures that the service delivery and clinical expertise is second to none.
